There was a section of my closet that I avoided the last time I went through to pull out everything that either didn’t fit anymore or was out of style. I’m not sure why I kept avoiding it but I finally decided to go through it the other evening and found about 6 skirts that I forgot I had and still really liked. This is one of them. It goes perfectly with the baby-blue cardigan I got from Ideeli a few weeks ago (want an invite?). So I decided to go for Spring a bit early even though it’s still cold out (for here at least).

The necklace is one of my new favorites from a consignment store. I’m not sure what the chain is actually made of but it is bright and thick and works great not only with the pendant it came with (that I’m wearing) but for others I have as well. I always look to reuse necklaces with other pendants when I pick them up. This five-point star pendant goes well with the five-petal flowers in the skirt!

The bracelet is another one of my chain-maille attempts. This one is the Byzantine pattern. It turned out well, I think. I really need to get back into that and make some necklaces…
