After an unsuccessful attempt to put together an outfit the evening before I decided just to go simple and Springy today with this ruffled shirt that I picked up at the consignment store. I am glad that ruffles are coming back in this season because I enjoy wearing them. Nothing to make you feel feminine like a bunch of flowy ruffles. Maybe it’s a bit fussy and old fashioned, but I still like the look.

At least it gave me a chance to wear my new awesome Born sandals that I’ve been waiting for an outfit for. I LOVE the flowers on them and they are some of the most comfortable shoes I have, even with the heels, but the color was a lot harder to match than I thought it would be. I am keeping an eye on them in other colors on Amazon and 6pm and may pick up another pair when they get discounted enough (I lucked up on these for 70% off). I would definitely consider getting other Born shoes too. They are really well made and well fitting.

My necklace is a beach glass and laborodite creation from my jewelry making days that I extended this morning with an extra length of chain. The colors match the outfit perfectly! I want to try to make a necklace sometime by the end of the weekend and try to get back in the swing of things.
